The Jorge Luis Borges’ quote was chosen in order to prompt a multi-faceted (and possibly fractured) reflections on the artists’ perceptions either of self or the worlds around them. Each artist selected, has done so in their own particular way. Our hopes are you will enjoy delving into the diverse interpretations when the exhibition opens on 8th October.

For this second exhibition in October 2026, we are delighted that sponsors Shepherd Neame, Kent’s oldest brewery, will continue to award the Shepherd Neame Kent Artist Award.
