Shringi Kumari

‘'Roots of the Spine’ is a poetry on dream-like state of memories stacked in our nervous system. It challenges linearity of thought, time and existence. The lines follow the artist’s breath-work and hope to make us all find our common rhythm.  Shringi’s works  embody movement between tradition and rebellion, ritual and freedom, seeking spaces that escape known dimensions.

‘Twins’ represents circling through time; particularly depicting turning a corner while churning the fields of life as we carry multiple aspects of our identity. The lines inspired by the rhythm of breath show stories etched in memory while navigating time. Memory being a key component in what we hold versus what we let go. Shringi’s works  embody movement between tradition and rebellion, ritual and freedom, seeking spaces that escape known dimensions.’

We are delighted to have Shringi as part of our Contemporary Kent Artists exhibition at The Horsebridge Arts Gallery the 7th - 19th of October 2026.

You can find more out more about Shringi and their work on their Website and Instagram.
