Adam Cohen

‘My childhood memories are dominated by my cult upbringing. Reading and being read the bible and other theologies. The main teaching was God literally created the world in 6 days. I wrote a poem about the last six days of existence, like a reverse Genesis. I’m too impatient to carve a woodblock with chisels, I have 3 kids. I like the way the laser takes analogue to digital and then, by hand printing on a Victorian press, back to analogue. Inspired by medieval block books and William Blake.’

We are delighted to have Adam as part of our Contemporary Kent Artists exhibition at The Horsebridge Arts Gallery the 7th - 19th of October 2026.
