Her painting Swimmer, Land, Sea won the Cass Art Prize for Most Innovative Use of Colourat the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours 2023, leading to her inclusion in *Beyond the Prize – Celebrating Contemporary Figurative Art* (April 2025). She has exhibited and sold work at the New English Art Club and The Discerning Eye, with pieces held in private collections across the UK, Europe, and the US.

After studying Visual Communication in Birmingham (1985), Sue spent 30 years as a designer, animator, and illustrator at the BBC. A desire for authentic self-expression led her to painting and to Folkestone, where she thrives in its vibrant art community and had a major solo show in 2024.

An intimate exploration of baby loss through art, personal stories, and compassionate support. This film documents Sue Bridge’s solo exhibition *Solace of the Sea*, featuring expressive oil paintings created in response to Tulip Mazumdar’s deeply moving story of baby loss and finding solace in cold water swimming.

It includes interviews with Tulip, Sue, and two visitors, offering personal reflections on grief and healing. The film also features scenes from an emotional artist talk, with the exhibition creating a safe space for sharing stories.
