Stephen O’Hare
Pastel and crayon drawings, mostly of coastal and rural landscapes. An experienced British Artist,
My relationship with Kent goes back to my early childhood, and my adoptive father’s family were from, and still are, in east Kent. I have lived in Whitstable, Maidstone and Folkestone.
I have a degree in fine art, but pursued an entirely unrelated career, not making art for thirty years. After early retirement I returned to making art for pleasure (not commercially), and mostly draw landscapes using crayons and pastels.
We are delighted to have Stephen as part of our Contemporary Kent Artists exhibition at The Horsebridge Arts Gallery on the 8th - 20th of October 2025.
You can see more of his work on instagram.
